The Southwest Florida Federal Court Bar Association will host a “Meet Our New Magistrate Judge” breakfast in honor of the Honorable Mac McCoy, on August 27, 2015, from 9:00-10:00am, in the jury assembly room of the United States Courthouse and Federal Building. The Middle District of Florida welcomed Judge McCoy on July 1, 2015 as its newest magistrate judge to the Fort Myers Division. Prior to his judicial appointment, Judge McCoy was a shareholder at Carlton Fields’ Tampa office where his practice focused on business, consumer financial services, and real property litigation, as well as class action defense.
